Wireless IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) SAG200 is an 9-axis Attitude and Heading Reference system (AHRS). The wireless IMU sensor SAG200 consists of 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis magnetometer. SAG200 measures 9-axis data, and compute Euler angles including pitch, yaw and roll angles on the fly. The sensor sends raw acceleration, gyroscope, magnetic fields data, along with pitch, yaw and roll data to Broadsens edge-computing gateway. Wireless IMU SAG200 has the best battery efficiency among all IMUs in the industry, which makes the sensor ideal for long-term remote monitoring and industrial IOT applications. The idle average current is less than 2uA when the sensor is waiting for commands from the user. The average power consumption of SAG200 is less than 5mA during measurements and data transmission.

Wireless IMU SAG200 computes the Euler angle (pitch, yaw and roll) inside the sensor based on 3-axis acceleration, 3-axis angular rate and 3-axis compass data, and sends the raw acceleration, gyro, magnetic field and Euler data to the gateway in real time. SAG200 can be used for both dynamic and static angle measurements. The accelerometer range is user-adjustable from 2g to 16g, and angular rate range is user-adjustable from 250dps to 2000 dps. Multiple wireless IMU SAG200 can be allocated to the same group for parallel monitoring. For a large and heavy machine such as excavators or bulldozers, multiple points can be monitored at the same time with the wireless IMU SAG200.

Each edge-computing gateway can control multiple groups of wireless IMU SAG200. Wireless IMU sensor data acquisition can be initiated manually, by schedule with timer, or remotely through MQTT control.
